The students here at Maggie Monk School of Dancing have recently put on what can only be described as a show stopping performance!!! It was incredible to see everyone back on stage and working so hard after 3 years of lock-down, pandemics and restriction. All the time and effort that went into getting the students back on stage was truly worth it.
The Intermediate Ballet girls said it was so inspirational to see so many dancers back on stage all together.
Grade 2 Tap also gave feedback and said it was really exciting to take part in a big show with the whole school. They all particularly enjoyed their dance, “42nd Street” in which they got to dance with lots of people including the older students.
Senior Troupe said their favourite dance was “Together” as it had such a strong message that they’re better together. It was also a very bittersweet moment as it was the last time that they’d all perform together with their Maggies family with some of the girls leaving the dance school after many years dancing together.
